Essay Writing Competition
Based on “Love is patient and kind” and “Independence day” an essay writing competition was organized on 3rd August. All the girls participated in it and the winners were Sapura, Valli, Monica and Shilpa.

Day with God
On 5 July, in the evening children had one hour with God animated by Br. Jacob. He explained them about the art of living highlighting the value based life style. He highlighted the values of faith, hope, truth, hard work, love and peace. Values are the foundation to our life and one needs to give priority if he or she has to be happy he said.

Faith Fest
Epsiba, Monica and Mary Padmini participated in the Faith Fest along with 500 youth of Karnataka at Auxilium Welfare Centre, Avalahalli for 2 days. They participated in all the activities and were helped to reflect on faith that they have in themselves, others and God.

Talents Day
On 16th June 2013 we organized the talents day. Each one had an opportunity to exhibit her talents in a creative manner. There was a variety of songs, dances, one act plays, storytelling etc. We thanked the Lord for gifting them with such beautiful talents.

Congratulations!
Uma. G. of I PUC was honoured on 30th June at Sri. Sarada Vidyaniketan School, Bangalore by the Kannada committee for scoring 115 marks in Kannada in the SSLC examination.

Visit to the Temple and the Church
On 27th June the catholic children went to the church and the others to the temple to pray

Learning Flower Making
On 9th August 2013 the children had the flower making session organized by Sr. Maria. The children sat in their groups and prepared variety o flowers. Their joy knew no bounds to see many flower vases the fruit of their labor.

Medical Camp
The medical camp was conducted by Dr. Fatima Lazar on 29th July 2013. She volunteered to render her free service. After the medical checkup she prescribed a few medicines to children as per their need. She also gave vitamin tablets and tonics for all.

Parents Meeting
The long awaited Parents meeting day dawned on 10th August 2013. Children welcomed them and performed a few programmes. Sr. Lizzie, the resource person spoke on the importance of education and their role in the education of their children. Children had their Tiffin together with their parents.

Kannada Rajyothsava
Our children of Auxilium Navajeevana Goripalya participated in the Kannada Rajyotsava dance competition on 1st November and performed a beautiful Kolatta dance. They got the first prize and their joy knew no bounds. The whole community congratulated them for their performance.
